The PlayStation 5 Pro details for GTA 6 may have just slipped out early. PlayStation France reportedly published a page listing the Grand Theft Auto VI enhancements for PS5 and PS5 Pro, then pulled it down. Before it vanished, it spelled out the two upgrades Pro owners have long wanted confirmed, PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution and advanced ray tracing.

The now-removed listing read like a finished product page. For the base PS5, it promised Tempest 3D Audio across Leonida, near-instant loading from the SSD and DualSense haptics, with a note that the game does not run on PlayStation 4 at all. The headline additions, of course, sat under an Enhanced for PS5 Pro banner.

According to the page, GTA 6 takes advantage of PSSR for AI upscaling to push a sharp 4K image, while advanced ray tracing sharpens reflections, shadows and lighting across the world. However, the haptics section described feeling Atsu's katana strikes, a line taken straight from Ghost of Yotei. The copied text raises doubts about the listing's authenticity, even if the page was removed soon after appearing.

The page surfaced through a Reddit post that is no longer available.

The leak could fill in the blank we had already flagged. Sony's official GTA 6 post ended on a vague "stay tuned." We laid out why the PS5 Pro details were the one reveal Sony had left to make. PSSR and advanced ray tracing are exactly the upgrades that pitch would hinge on, so an early listing showing both suggests the official version is close.

The timing points one way. Rockstar Games has a long habit of saving its biggest GTA 6 news for Thursdays. Tomorrow is one. A formal PS5 Pro breakdown would fit the pattern and the moment, with pre-loads days away.

Nothing is confirmed until Sony or Rockstar says so, but the leaked page and the calendar both point at a reveal coming soon.

The two PS5 Pro upgrades, PSSR and ray tracing, leaked before Sony was ready to show them.

The reported listing could help answer a question that has hung over the launch for weeks. We asked whether GTA 6 would prove the PS5 Pro worth its price. PSSR 4K upscaling is the kind of answer Sony needs. The upgrades feed straight into the PS5 versus Xbox decision while sharpening the "plays best on PlayStation" pitch Sony has built the campaign around.

The reported details, if accurate, give the official version a leak to live up to.

If Rockstar sticks to its Thursday routine, we may not need to wait long to see it made official.
