Johnny Klebitz runs The Lost Motorcycle Club's Alderney chapter while president Billy Grey serves a court-ordered stay in rehabilitation. As the club's vice president, Johnny replaces open conflict with truces and business arrangements.12
The Lost and Damned
Johnny is the playable protagonist of Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned. Billy's return reverses Johnny's approach, reignites the club's war with the Angels of Death and divides The Lost between the two men. Johnny eventually leads the members who remain loyal to him, confronts Billy and abandons the Alderney clubhouse after the gang's collapse.
The episode runs alongside Grand Theft Auto IV. Johnny's work brings him into the same diamond deal and kidnapping plot seen from the perspectives of Niko Bellic and Luis Lopez, linking the three stories included in Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition.3
Grand Theft Auto V
Johnny later appears in Grand Theft Auto V with Ashley Butler and members of The Lost in Blaine County. Trevor Philips kills him during the mission "Mr. Philips," beginning Trevor's conflict with the gang.5
Grand Theft Auto Online
Johnny returns as a ghost in Grand Theft Auto Online during the 2023 Ghosts Exposed Halloween hunt. He is the final ghost on the Blaine County route and appears at the intersection where Trevor killed him, after players have photographed the other nine ghosts. His appearance is available between midnight and 1am in game time.
Character
Johnny is more pragmatic than Billy and initially tries to preserve The Lost through negotiation rather than constant retaliation. His loyalty to the club repeatedly conflicts with his concern for Ashley and with the damage caused by Billy's leadership. Scott Hill voices Johnny in Grand Theft Auto IV, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony.4
