GTA Online Ghost Locations (2023 Halloween Event)

As part of the Halloween Update for GTA Online, Rockstar added ten ghosts that appear at specific times around Blaine County. You can use your phone's camera to capture their images, earning money and RP.

The 10th ghost will only appear after you've captured all nine of the previous ones. Capturing all ten ghosts also unlocks an exclusive livery for the new Albany Brigham vehicle.

All of these ghosts appear from 8 pm to 5 am, with each one being visible for just one hour. For instance, the first ghost will be present from 8 pm to 9 pm before vanishing. Each ghost has two distinct spawn points at every location, located closely together. These spawns are always within the same area, typically just a few steps apart.

The ghost randomly spawns at one of the two designated spawn points during their scheduled times. In this guide, we give you the exact locations of all the ten ghosts and the times they spawn. If you're fast enough, you can capture all nine in a single night and then get the final one the following night! We've also posted a video guide above.

Ghost 1 (8 PM — 9 PM)

The ghost is found on the first floor of the barn.

Alternate Spawn

If you can't find the ghost in the suggested location, circle the barn, as the ghost can be found on the opposite side which is its alternate spawn location.

Ghost 2 (9 PM — 10 PM)

The ghost is inside the RV.

If you do not see the ghost, go to the other side of the RV and you can see it through the rectangular window of the RV.

Ghost 3 (10 PM — 11 PM)

In an abandoned old broken bus.

Outside of the abandoned bus on the other side.

Ghost 4 (11 PM — 12 AM)

At the base of the light house.

Ghost 5 (1 AM — 2 AM)

On top of the house at the front.

Go to the right side of the room, and you can see it through the window in the back room.

Ghost 6 (2 AM — 3 AM)

On top of the Church.

In the Church cemetery.

Ghost 7 (3 AM — 4 AM)

In the storage shed of the house in the back. Can be seen through the window.

In the attic of the house. It can be seen through a broken roof on the front.

Ghost 8 (4 AM — 5 AM)

On top of the small waterfall at Tongva Hills.

On the rock to the left in the middle of the waterfall.

Ghost 9 (5 AM — 6 AM)

On top of tunnel entrance.

In the middle of the railway track, next to the parachute power up.

Ghost 10 (12 AM — 1 AM)

The tenth ghost is Johnny Klebitz, a character also featured in GTA IV as the leader of the Lost MC. In GTA 5's story mode, he's killed by Trevor. We encounter Johnny Klebitz's ghost at the same road intersection where Trevor killed him.

Johnny's ghost will only appear once you've captured the previous nine ghosts. Visit the location the following night between 12 AM and 1 AM to witness his ghost. There is only one spawn point for this ghost.

Rewards

Each captured ghost rewards you with $20,000 and 500 RP. Collecting all ten ghosts rewards you with an additional $50,000, making the total rewards for this activity $250,000 and 5,000 RP. You also get a free unique livery, Ghosts Exposed, for the Albany Brigham vehicle.
