All ghosts appear between 7 PM and 6 AM, with each one visible for exactly one hour. For example, the first ghost spawns from 7 PM to 8 PM. Each ghost also has two different spawn points that are close to one another within the same area, so make sure to check both spots if you don’t see it right away.
Each captured ghost rewards players with $20,000 and 500 RP, and collecting all ten provides an extra $50,000, totaling $250,000 and 5,000 RP overall.
You can start hunting as soon as you receive this message from Ghosts Exposed:
Ghost 1 (7 PM to 8 PM)
The first ghost can be found at Hill Valley Church in Pacific Bluffs. Check the rooftop of the church or look at the grave in the middle of the small lake beside it.
Ghost 2 (8 PM to 9 PM)
The second ghost appears inside an abandoned trailer on Algonquin Boulevard in Sandy Shores, just north of the Derelict Motel.
Ghost 3 (9 PM to 10 PM)
The third ghost haunts the western section of Fudge Lane in El Burro Heights. It can appear at the memorial on the sidewalk or up on the nearby water tower.
Ghost 4 (10 PM to 11 PM)
You can find the fourth ghost inside a wrecked bus in the desert, just east of Maude’s Trailer in Grapeseed, near the edge of Senora Freeway.
Ghost 5 (11 PM to 12 AM)
The fifth ghost lingers at the top of Miguel Madrazo’s Mansion in Vinewood Hills.
Ghost 6 (1 AM to 2 AM)
The sixth ghost can be found on the Raton Canyon Bridge. It may appear on top of the tunnel entrance or in the center of the rail bridge itself.
Ghost 7 (2 AM to 3 AM)
The seventh ghost stands at the top of the Rockford Hills Church.
Ghost 8 (4 AM to 5 AM)
The eighth ghost appears at the Hill Valley Church in Great Chaparral. It can either be seen standing on the rooftop or beside the grave behind Little Al’s tombstone from the mission “Funeral Party”.
Ghost 9 (5 AM to 6 AM)
The ninth ghost shows up at the derelict Starlite Motel across from The Lost MC Clubhouse in East Vinewood. Look near the upper balconies of the building.
Ghost 10 (12 AM to 1 AM)
The final ghost is Jay Norris, the Lifeinvader CEO killed in the GTA V story mission “Friend Request.” He will only appear once you have photographed all nine previous ghosts. You can find him on the stage of the Vinewood Bowl between 12 AM and 1 AM. There are no alternate spawn points for this one.
