As part of the 2025 Halloween Update for GTA Online, Rockstar has once again added 10 ghosts that appear across Blaine County and Los Santos at specific times during the night. Players can use their in-game phone camera to photograph each spirit and earn cash and RP for every successful capture.
Just like last year’s event, the tenth and final ghost only appears once you have photographed all nine previous ghosts. Capturing all ten rewards you with the new Ghost Exposed Cap as a special collectible item:
All ghosts appear between 7 PM and 6 AM, with each one visible for exactly one hour. For example, the first ghost spawns from 7 PM to 8 PM. Each ghost also has two different spawn points that are close to one another within the same area, so make sure to check both spots if you don’t see it right away.
Each captured ghost rewards players with $20,000 and 500 RP, and collecting all ten provides an extra $50,000, totaling $250,000 and 5,000 RP overall.

Ghost 1 (7 PM to 8 PM)
The first ghost can be found at Hill Valley Church in Pacific Bluffs. Check the rooftop of the church or look at the grave in the middle of the small lake beside it.
Ghost 2 (8 PM to 9 PM)
The second ghost appears inside an abandoned trailer on Algonquin Boulevard in Sandy Shores, just north of the Derelict Motel.
Ghost 3 (9 PM to 10 PM)
The third ghost haunts the western section of Fudge Lane in El Burro Heights. It can appear at the memorial on the sidewalk or up on the nearby water tower.
Ghost 4 (10 PM to 11 PM)
You can find the fourth ghost inside a wrecked bus in the desert, just east of Maude’s Trailer in Grapeseed, near the edge of Senora Freeway.
Ghost 5 (11 PM to 12 AM)
The fifth ghost lingers at the top of Miguel Madrazo’s Mansion in Vinewood Hills.
