A new year brings new treats, and Rockstar Games knows it. That’s why anyone who logs into Grand Theft Auto Online before January 14 will receive a free business property. The Hands On Car Wash becomes yours at no cost once you watch the Money Fronts introductory cutscene with characters Raf and Mr. Faber. This car wash serves as an entry point into the Money Fronts system, which lets players build a network of legitimate businesses to obscure their criminal earnings.
It couldn't have come at a better time because all legal front operations are paying 3X GTA$ and RP through mid-January. This applies to washing cars, running helicopter tours through Higgins Helitours, and making deliveries for the Smoke on the Water dispensary. Wash three cars and you'll pocket an extra GTA$100,000 on top of the tripled earnings.
The criminal side isn't getting ignored either. Counterfeit Cash Factory operations are paying double through biker businesses and nightclub sales. Rockstar has also cut 40% off the purchase price of these factories and their upgrades for players who don't own one yet.
Meanwhile, Operation Paper Trail, the IAA mission series about investigating gas prices, now pays 2X GTA$ and RP. Even better is that GTA+ subscribers get double that amount, creating a 4x multiplier for the first time on these missions.
The only other event getting 4x payouts is Hao's Special Works Race Series. These races require HSW-upgraded vehicles, which means players need to have completed Hao's time trial and invested in the specific performance upgrades.
To aid in that, the Grotti LSCM Cheetah Classic is getting 30% off. It's a widebody sports classic, which means it occupies a specific niche for players who collect vintage-styled vehicles. Whether that matters to you depends entirely on whether you care about filling out that particular vehicle class.
The discount list includes 11 other vehicles, such as the Western Reever motorcycle, Buzzard Attack Chopper, and the Chernobog missile launcher truck. The Buzzard discount is probably the most relevant since it's a practical helicopter for missions and CEO work.
Rockstar also confirmed that three new Odd Jobs will arrive before January ends but provided no details about what they involve or when exactly they'll launch. Odd Jobs typically offer short, contained missions outside the main business structures.
The current event effectively front-loads January with reasons to engage with business operations, especially the legal fronts that tie into the Money Fronts system. Everything runs through January 14, which means players have a week to claim the property and capitalize on the multipliers.
