Rockstar has finally decided to reveal the date when all dedicated GTA Online fans need to call in sick (provided your timezone means the DLC will go live during your shift). While this new post still doesn't reveal too much about the recently announced Bikers DLC, we finally have a concrete release date to look forward to.

If all goes according to plan — and Rockstar has never delayed GTA Online DLC before — Bikers will be available worldwide on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on the 4th of October, meaning next Tuesday, exactly one week from today.
Rockstar also released a few new screenshots, showing off some of the bikes, clothes (including a whole lot of leather) and melee weapons that will be added to GTA Online when the update finally drops. That said, we didn't exactly get a whole lot of info dumped on us, leaving players barely the wiser about what to expect from the update than before.
...a rash of all new competitive and co-operative gameplay as well as new modes, vehicles, weapons, clothing and much more
The screenshots show that there will be some intense melee action going on while riding. Players will be able to swing a large variety of new close-quarters weapons while on their bike, allowing you to cut down your opponents without even having to stop. This also seemingly confirms that bike-jousting will be a feature in GTA Online — something we're ecstatic about.
