Grand Theft Auto VI lets you study animals while exploring Leonida or visiting the zoo. Newly found animals are checked off a list, giving wildlife observation its own place among the game’s activities.1

Studying animals

You can study animals at the zoo and in the wild. Like Red Dead Redemption 2, each new discovery is recorded on a list.1

The preview does not detail the study controls or completion rewards.

Animals in released footage

A forest-stream scene in An Extended Look shows deer, wild boars, rabbits and birds together.2 These are selected examples, not a complete species list or set of study entries.

The separate Alligators page documents that animal’s released appearances, including its place in the Grassrivers coverage.

Zoo visits and animal interactions

Visiting the zoo is one of the available outings, along with kayaking and pool.1

You can also pet or scold dogs.1
