Cayo Perico Survival is a seasonal GTA Online activity that brings zombies and other undead enemies to Cayo Perico. Rockstar first ran the mode from August 28 to September 10, 2025, and brought it back during Halloween 2025.1 2
How Cayo Perico Survival works
Players begin near the island's western beach and fight toward the airfield while enemy waves close in. The roster includes zombies, undead conquistadors, panther trainers, Splitters and hostile DJs. Reaching the airfield opens an evacuation route, while teams that stay can continue into endless waves.1
The mode followed Ludendorff Cemetery Survival as GTA Online's second dedicated undead Survival. Its island route and optional extraction give it a different structure from the fixed North Yankton arena.
Launch rewards
The original 2025 launch period temporarily offered double GTA$ and RP, an I Survived Cayo Perico Tee for playing, and the Buccaneer Outfit plus GTA$100,000 for completing all ten waves.1 These were event-week rewards, not permanent parts of the activity.
