Hosted by creator and producer Geoff Keighley and directed by Richard Preuss, The Game Awards 2024 was held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles1. The live event featured musical performances and award presentations from a range of celebrity guests, including d4vd, Royal & the Serpent, Snoop Dogg, Twenty One Pilots, Harrison Ford, Hideo Kojima, and Aaron Paul.

The most decorated title of the night was Astro Bot, which led the event with seven nominations and took home four awards, including the coveted Game of the Year.
