New GTA Online Patch Finally Fixes Annoying Vehicle Glitch

The first GTA Online patch for the summer is finally here. Say goodbye to invisible cars and hello to smoother gameplay.

Grand Theft Auto Online fans have reason to celebrate, as Rockstar Games has just released a new patch that addresses one frustrating and long-standing bug.

While the first public GTA Online patch following the Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC may be light on new content, the 2GB update more than makes up for it by finally fixing the issue where vehicles suddenly become "inaccessible or invisible," as described in the patch notes.

The GTA Online July 17 patch weighs 2.47GB on the Xbox Series S/X and Xbox One, and 957.1MB and 583.2MB on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, respectively.

The latest GTA Online patch went live on July 17.

In typical Rockstar fashion, the company has been drip-feeding content and fixes to GTA Online over the past month. Following the release of the Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC, which allows players to hunt bounties for cash, Rockstar has added two brand-new police cars.

In other GTA-related news, Rockstar is reportedly releasing GTA+ on Nintendo Switch, sparking hope among fans that GTA 5 will finally be available on Nintendo's hybrid platform.
