GTAO Patch Live: Stim Package Soon, Vehicle Dupe Glitch Survives

Title update 1.05 is now available for Grand Theft Auto V on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The main aim of the update is to fix cloud sync issues that could cause players to lose all of their progress when their saved game is transferred between their console and Rockstar's cloud servers. Here's the official patch notes:

• Built in measures to prevent users from losing their progress when there is a cloud outage
• Built in a number of measures to protect players’ cash balances even if there are network problems
• Fixed an issue where on rare occasions during network problems the player could lose their Online vehicle or mods after exiting GTA Online

The update also paves the way for the first $250K of the $500K GTA V stimulus package to be paid. Rockstar said that it will be distributed during a 24 hour window some time over the next few days. For this reason they were also keen to warn people not to be alarmed if their friends get it before they do!

As for whether the update fixed any glitches (like the numerous Los Santos Customs vehicle duplication glitches) we've been hearing reports that they still work! Let us know if you find out otherwise...
