Up until now cheating, glitches and exploits have been pretty widespread in GTA Online and everyone knows it, the most common of which being various incarnations of the Los Santos Customs vehicles duplication glitch. Using the glitch players were/are able to sell their vehicle to LSC over and over again, earning a potentially unlimited amount of money. Numerous player progression glitches have also been found (see the people running around with a rank of 9,999?).

However a brand new title update (v1.09) for Grand Theft Auto V just went live a few days ago (on 11 January to be precise) and it seems Rockstar will be hoping to clean up a lot of the cheating, glitching and more "malicious" actions currently being undertaken by certain gamers in the world of GTA Online. The patch notes for the update are pretty brief, but get the point across we think:
- Improved anti-cheat measures
- Fix for several GTA$ and RP exploits
