Rockstar Games is marking Valentine's Day in Grand Theft Auto Online with Deadline Duet, a new Adversary Mode where paired players ride Nagasaki Shotaro motorcycles and use their neon beam trails to eliminate opponents. The mode runs through February 18 and offers triple rewards. Players who complete two matches will earn GTA$100,000 as part of the weekly challenge.
The update introduces the Pfister Astrale, a 1990s-inspired two-door sports car now available at Legendary Motorsport. The vehicle supports customization through Hao's Special Works and includes Missile Lock-On Jammer technology. For players interested in the Shotaro motorcycle featured in Deadline Duet, the bike is discounted 50% until February 18.
Associates and Bodyguards can earn four times the usual GTA$ for their work through February 18. The promotion encourages cooperative play during the Valentine's period, with players able to form crews through the official Rockstar Games Discord server.
Logging in before February 18 also rewards players with a free Valentines Onesie, plus all nightclubs are offering complimentary champagne for two weeks. Valentine's-themed clothing returns with a 50% discount, alongside the Albany Roosevelt and Roosevelt Valor vehicles. Players may also encounter random events involving unfaithful characters and their vengeful ex-partners.
Short Trips missions featuring Franklin and Lamar pay 2X GTA$ and RP. Meth Lab operations have doubled production speed, while Meth Lab properties and upgrades are 40% off until February 11. Bunker Research Missions now provide double GTA$ and RP along with doubled research progress.
The Community Race Series features [PM] Shotaro Race, a stunt race by creator patoudemoorea that uses the Shotaro motorcycle on tracks with multiple crossovers for overtaking opportunities. All Community Race Series modes pay double rewards this week.
Vehicle discounts include 30% off the Emperor ETR1, Överflöd Autarch, Pfister Comet S2, Nagasaki Weaponized Dinghy, Benefactor Vorschlaghammer, Gallivanter Baller ST-D, HVY Vetir, Western Powersurge, Western Company Rogue, Karin Futo GTX, Truffade Nero, and Vulcar Warrener HKR.
Meanwhile, the Gun Van carries discounted Service Carbines at 30% off, with Compact EMP Launchers receiving the same discount for GTA+ members.
