One GTA Online Shipwreck appears along the coast of Southern San Andreas each day. Open its chest to collect GTA$20,000, 2,000 RP and one Outfit Scrap. GTA BOOM confirmed the current base cash and RP reward in-game.

Rockstar confirms that only one Shipwreck can be collected each day and that seven Outfit Scraps unlock The Frontier Outfit.¹ The location changes at the daily reset; you do not need to wait 24 hours from the moment you opened the previous chest. You can check whether you have found today's wreck under Daily Collectibles in the Interaction Menu.

The guide below covers 27 active Shipwreck locations around the beaches, piers and jetties of Los Santos and Blaine County. It also retains three unused positions, clearly marked as unused, for reference.

There are 27 active Shipwreck locations for the daily chest. The active location changes each day, using a collection mechanic similar to the treasure chests on Cayo Perico. Locations 18–20 below are unused positions and are not part of the daily rotation.

Collect one Outfit Scrap from a Shipwreck chest on seven different days to unlock The Frontier Outfit. The days do not need to be consecutive. Once unlocked, you can equip the outfit from the Special Outfits section of your wardrobe.

You can collect only one Shipwreck Outfit Scrap per day, so the reliable route takes seven daily resets. Use the maps above to check the current coastal location, collect the chest, and confirm that today's Shipwreck is marked complete under Daily Collectibles in the Interaction Menu.

Older restart methods are not a dependable shortcut because GTA Online can save your collectible progress before you reconnect. Closing the game during a save can also risk losing other recent progress.
