Diamond Casino & Resort Open Now In GTA Online

The time has finally come — Grand Theft Auto Online's most anticipated DLC since Heists is now available. The Diamond Casino & Resort is now open to San Andreas' highest rollers with the lowest inhibitions. If you feel lucky and have cash to burn, head on over to the old Casino building that got a flashy redesign.

Decadence and opulence are what the Casino DLC is all about. The modern, luxurious surroundings all seek to instill in you the illusion of joining the 1% — something you can actually do if you have enough GTA$ in your accounts to buy a VIP Membership, but we're getting ahead of ourselves.

Naturally, the main attraction in any casino will be gambling. The Diamond offers Roulette, Blackjack, Three Card Poker, Slot Machines, a Lucky Wheel and horse race betting at the Inside Track. Note that all gambling is done strictly against the house, using chips. A standard membership will net you access to the tables, valet, services, along with a welcoming gift of 5,000 chips. The standard fee is the surprisingly low price of GTA$ 500. Make sure to remember your daily bonus of 1,000 free chips whenever you visit.

If you are willing to drop larger sums, you can purchase VIP Memberships that come with a Master Penthouse apartment, your own home within the Diamond. You can add various modules to your penthouse to further customize it, including the Lounge, Media Room, Spa, Party Hub, Private Dealer, Office, Extra Bedroom and Garage. Beyond customizing the colour scheme and style of your penthouse, you can decorate it with exquisite works of art from the Casino Store.

The Party Hub even includes a pair of retro arcade machines, playing Invade and Persuade II and Street Crimes: Gang Wars Edition which you can actually play in-game.

Once you grow bored of the comforts provided by the Diamond, call up Agatha Baker for some Casino Work Missions, or team up with up to 3 other players in five narrative co-op missions. You need to help the Diamond's owner, Tao Cheng, protect his dynasty from the Duggans, a Texan oil magnate. To access Casino Work, you need to be a VIP, CEO or MC President, and to access story missions, you need a VIP Membership.

Six new vehicles come to GTA Online with today's DLC. These are the Truffade Thrax, the Obey 8F Drafter, the Annis S80RR, the Enus Paragon R, the Weeny Issi Sport and the Vapid Caracara 4x4. The latter two star is a new Racing Series consisting of three brand new maps, and four fan-favorite classics with a twist.

Rockstar has also included a new scavenger hunt. Scattered throughout Los Santos are 54 special vintage playing cards, and finding them will net you RP and chip rewards. If you collect the full set, you'll unlock a new outfit, a special set of cards to play with at the Diamond, and a mystery item in Red Dead Online.

Don't forget to jump in on the Diamond Program promotion, which lasts till the 7th of August, to earn some limited items and additional rewards while playing the new content. Logging into GTA Online anytime between now and the 31st of July will unlock an exclusive Blue Diamond Resort LS tee for your character.
