The AI NPCs that talk back, remember you and gossip about you are no longer locked to one server. Humalike has released its system as a FiveM resource any Grand Theft Auto V roleplay server can install, turning what was a single-server experiment when it was first announced back in August into something the whole roleplay scene can now use.
Back then, the tech ran only on StrefaRP, Poland's biggest GTA V roleplay server, as a live partnership. NPCs held natural conversations, reacted in real time to things like a drawn gun, remembered players and spread gossip between characters. It was a technical demonstration available only on a single server. Now it is a product with a dashboard, framework support and, perhaps most important of all, a price.

The AI NPC tech went from a one-server demo to something anyone can install.
The capabilities have grown with the release. According to Humalike's own numbers, the system has now handled more than 20,000 conversations and 300,000 turns on StrefaRP, adding up to roughly 40 days of total talk time. Beyond conversation and memory, the NPCs can now recognize clothing, masks, weapons and gunfire, decide what to reveal or lie about, and fill functional roles like EMS patients, witnesses who talk to police, hostages or informants.
You can even organize NPCs into gangs, EMS teams or businesses that share memories, so one interaction can change how an entire faction treats a player. Rob a shop and the whole gang can know. The tech that made a single NPC feel alive now scales to a whole society of them, all remembering the same player.
There is a business model attached now too. A free tier covers up to 1,000 interactions for testing, with paid plans starting at $79 a month for 25,000 interactions that can go up to $119 for 50,000. Servers create and deploy characters through a dashboard, with no coding needed to place or manage them. It is a product aimed specifically at server owners who want to improve their server's gameplay experience but players are the ones who will feel its implementation.
GTA roleplay keeps growing up. Rockstar Games has gone from tolerating roleplay to officially promoting it and big servers like NoPixel keep overhauling themselves to stay ahead. AI NPCs that any server can drop in are the next step, a way to make a roleplay city feel populated by characters rather than scenery.
The obvious question is where this goes with Grand Theft Auto VI on the way. GTA 6 roleplay will be enormous whenever it launches and third-party tools like this are already proving out what living, reactive NPCs can do in the current game. Whether Rockstar builds anything similar into its own official Creator Platform is unknown.
For now, the scene is not waiting on Rockstar or anyone else. The NPCs that remember you and talk behind your back are open for any server to install today.
