The Bravado Banshee is a two-door sports car that has appeared throughout the Grand Theft Auto series since its debut as the getaway car at the start of Grand Theft Auto III. It went on to appear in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto IV, Grand Theft Auto V, Grand Theft Auto Online and Grand Theft Auto VI.1

Its long history and distinctive blue-and-white presentation have made the Banshee one of the series' most recognizable sports cars.

Overview

Design and Inspiration

The Banshee closely resembles the Dodge Viper SRT-10 through its long hood, compact cabin and wide rear bodywork. In 2013, Rockstar Games and West Coast Customs used a Viper SRT-10 as the basis for a full-size, screen-accurate version of the GTA V Banshee, reproducing the in-game body panels, cockpit and blue-and-white finish.1

Locations

The Banshee appears in each game's main city, including Liberty City, Vice City and Los Santos, with exact spawn points varying by title.

In GTA Online, the standard Banshee can be converted into the Banshee 900R at Benny's Original Motor Works.2

The first GTA VI trailer shows a Banshee at a Vice City intersection, retaining the low roadster shape and twin racing stripes seen in GTA V.3
