Rockstar's Twitch Prime partnership for GTA Online rewarded eligible Amazon subscribers for connecting their Rockstar account. It combined login payments with rotating offers, including extra in-game discounts and a promotion featuring Pixel Pete's Arcade. The sections below explain how it worked before support ended.
Rockstar withdrew Prime Gaming support for GTA Online on March 31, 2023. Our report on the end of Prime Gaming benefits covers the announcement and final bonus.
How Account Linking Worked
During the partnership, players linked the Twitch Prime account included with their Amazon subscription to the Rockstar Social Club account they used for GTA Online. Linking the accounts allowed eligible players to claim the promotional rewards.
Twitch Prime required players to be an Amazon Prime subscriber.
Players created a Twitch account and could subscribe to Prime through Amazon. There was no additional fee for Twitch Prime — it was included as part of your Amazon Prime subscription.
They then linked their Twitch account and their Social Club account. To claim the rewards available at the time, players checked the GTA Online bonuses on the Twitch website and clicked on "Claim now". The claim process asked them to sign in with their Social Club details to activate the rewards. This is the former process, not a way to claim new GTA Online rewards.
Former Bonuses
Rockstar changed the benefits during the partnership. At the time this guide was first published, players who linked their accounts received a one-time bonus of free GTA$ 250,000 when they first logged in after claiming the bonuses. The then-current offers appeared in the Frequently Asked Questions on the former Twitch Prime GTA Online page.
Subscribers also received additional, bigger discounts on in-game items each week. Rockstar reduced the prices of different items each week, with an additional 10% off from the already discounted price. At that time, purchases of Shark Cards received a 15% GTA$ bonus. That Prime Gaming bonus is no longer available.
A former promotion featured the Pixel Pete's Arcade property alongside The Diamond Casino content.
The Arcade serves as a front for your secret HQ designed specifically to plan and pull off the most ambitious heist San Andreas has ever seen — but it is a functioning business, with multiple working arcade cabinets that let you play games while you are playing a game.
These were rewards for eligible subscribers during the partnership. An Amazon subscription no longer grants these GTA Online benefits.
