Twitch Prime Gaming + GTA Benefits Guide

Rockstar Games has partnered up with Twitch and if you're a Twitch subscriber, there's a bunch of free stuff waiting for you in GTA Online!

How To Link Twitch and GTA Accounts

What you need to do in order to claim the in-game freebies is link your Twitch Prime account with your Rockstar SocialClub account that you use to play GTA Online with. Once linked, you'll be able to claim the in-game goods pretty much seamlessly.

In order to subscribe to Twitch Prime, you need to be an Amazon Prime subscriber.

Make a Twitch account if you don't have one already and then subscribe to Prime too. There is no additional fee for joining Twitch Prime — it's included as part of your Amazon Prime subscription.

Then, you'll need to link your Twitch account and your Social Club account. To do that, and actually get the rewards that are available, you need to check the GTA Online bonuses on the Twitch website and click on "Claim now". This will lead you to log in with your SocialClub information, allowing you to activate the rewards.

The Bonuses

Occasionally, Rockstar changes up what benefits Twitch Prime subscribers get in-game. Currently, everyone who links their accounts gets a one-time bonus of free GTA$ 250,000 when you log in the first time after claiming the bonuses. You can check the current ongoing offers under item #1 of the Frequently Asked Questions on the Twitch Prime GTA Online page.

Subscribers also get additional, bigger discounts on in-game items each week. Rockstar slashes the prices of different items each week, and you can get an additional 10% off from the already discounted price. Additionally, when purchasing Shark Cards, the GTA$ value will be increased by 15%.

The main attraction, however, is the Pixel Pete's Arcade property, which is required to play The Diamond Casino content.

This Arcade is a front for your secret HQ designed specifically to plan and pull off the most ambitious heist San Andreas has ever seen — but it is a functioning business, with multiple working arcade cabinets that let you play games while you are playing a game.

These are fantastic bonuses for people who have a Twitch Prime subscription already, though we're not sure if the value provided by the bonuses would warrant creating a subscription just for the sake of claiming them.
