The Humble Bundle is a unique initiative in the industry wherein certain bundles of games, books, movies and other software are made temporarily available on a pay-what-you-want basis. Some of the contents of the bundle are walled off behind tiers, meaning you can still get some of the goods for a buck, but you'll need to pay $5 at least for some of the shinier products.
Even so, the Humble Bundle has always been one of the cheapest ways of acquiring quality games. The other thing that sets it apart — and gives reason for people to pay more than the minimum for their desired tier — is that a percentage of your payment goes to charity.
