An unnamed heavy-duty pickup truck inspired by the fifth-generation Ram Heavy Duty is set to debut in Grand Theft Auto VI. It is a large, utility-focused vehicle, marking the first appearance of a truck based on the Ram 2500 or 3500 models in the series.
Overview / Description
This vehicle will be introduced in Grand Theft Auto VI as a robust, modern pickup truck. Its addition is notable as it represents the first time a vehicle based on the real-world RAM 25001 or 3500 heavy-duty line2 has been featured in a Grand Theft Auto game, adding a new type of powerful utility vehicle to the game's world.
Design and Appearance
The vehicle's design is heavily based on the real-life fifth-generation Ram Heavy Duty, which was introduced in 20193. The model seen in promotional material is a 4-door crew-cab pickup truck. A key design feature is its large rear wheel arches, which accommodate a "dually" setup, meaning it has dual rear wheels on each side, a common feature on heavy-duty trucks designed for towing and hauling heavy loads.
Acquisition / Locations
A red version of the pickup truck appears at the 50-second mark of the first GTA VI trailer. It is seen parked at a gas station in Leonard County, attached to a towable boat trailer carrying a fanboat.
It's currently unknown how to acquire the vehicle, besides presumably stealing from the road.
