Rudi is named in an in-world social-media clip shown in GTA VI Trailer 1. The clip shows a green pickup truck launching over an obstacle before exploding, followed by the caption "RIP Rudi – C U in heaven, cuz."1

The post is one of the trailer's snapshots of Leonida Man culture in Grand Theft Auto VI.

The brief video is posted by an in-game account named YoMammazJammer. Rudi is visible behind the wheel of the pickup before the jump and explosion. The caption implies that the poster believes Rudi died, but Rockstar has not separately confirmed his fate.1
