From new vehicles to bug fixes, Rockstar is addressing player concerns and improving the overall GTA experience.

The latest Grand Theft Auto Online update, Money Fronts, has brought with it something players have been begging for since 2013: the ability to skip cutscenes. However, that's just the tip of the iceberg in what might be one of the most player-friendly updates Rockstar has delivered in years.

Let's start with the biggest win for veteran players, which is the new cutscene skip feature. Once you've watched a mission's cinematics, you can breeze past them on repeat playthroughs. No more sitting through Lester's rambling phone calls or watching the same heist setup scenes for the hundredth time. It's a small change that will make grinding infinitely more bearable.

Meanwhile, car enthusiasts get seven fresh rides to collect, headlined by the Överflöd Suzume supercar (exclusive to GTA+ members until June 26). The lineup spans every category, including:

  • Dewbauchee Rapid GT X - A new sports car for the Sunday drivers
  • Karin Woodlander - An SUV with HSW upgrades for next-gen players
  • Übermacht Sentinel GTS - Another sports option for the collection
  • Annis Hardy - A sedan for those who prefer four doors
  • Karin Everon RS - A rugged SUV for off-road adventures
  • Western Police Bike - Emergency vehicle that comes with a Highway Patrol outfit

In addition, dozens of returning vehicles now support the Imani Tech Missile Lock-On Jammer upgrade, giving players more options for countering griefers with their flying motorcycles of doom.

Arena Wars content now pays double AP (Arena Points), addressing one of the community's longest-standing complaints about the mode's terrible reward structure. Maybe now players can actually afford those million-dollar vehicle upgrades without dedicating their entire summer to spinning in circles.

The update tackles numerous quality-of-life issues that seasoned players will appreciate. Some of these are:

  • 60-second grace period before global signals expose you during sell missions (up from the previous hair-trigger timing)
  • Boss work cancellation via phone menu - no more being stuck in jobs you accidentally started
  • Ammo restocking after Survivals, because running out of bullets mid-wave was never fun
  • Taxi work now available in drift-tuned vehicles with proper liveries

While Money Fronts introduces new money laundering businesses (Hands On Car Wash, Higgins Helitours, and Smoke on the Water), the real story here is how Rockstar Games continues refining the core experience that millions of players engage with daily.

Bugs were also a target for this update, with fixes for everything from getting stuck in elevators during Diamond Casino Heists to resolving the mysterious case of disappearing Hi Top Sneakers. Major fixes include:

  • Multiple heist softlocks resolved across Cayo Perico, Doomsday, and Casino content
  • Property interaction bugs that left players stranded
  • Vehicle behavior improvements for aircraft and supercars
  • Stability improvements across all platforms

It's also worth mentioning that GTA V Enhanced PC players are also getting new ray tracing options, including high-resolution reflections and secondary ray bounces for global illumination.
