The game's latest update not only bolsters the ever-evolving world of Grand Theft Auto with a fresh round of content, bonuses, and rewards but also introduces some impactful changes to the well-received Assault on Cayo Perico heist.
Foremost, players invested in the Assault on Cayo Perico heist might need to revise their strategies and expectations. Rockstar has recalibrated the setup costs and finale payouts for the heist, most prominently increasing the setup costs from $25,000 to a whopping $100,000. Additionally, the payouts for several primary and secondary targets have been scaled down. However, the payments for The Madrazo Files, the Pink Diamond, and Gold as a secondary target remain untouched. To balance the scale, Rockstar is doubling the base GTA$ payouts for Assault on Cayo Perico, and boosting rewards for those who rise to the challenge of optional missions.
