Forget just owning a home, leaks suggest the long-awaited mansions will be fully customizable party hubs where you can host your friends.
We previously found out that mansions are coming to Grand Theft Auto Online later this year and we've just got more details about what's coming with it.
According to @TezFunz2 on X, these luxury homes will come with interactive features that rival or even surpass the popular Casino Penthouse that was added to the game back in 2019.
If you're wondering if the source is legit, it comes from leftover script notes hidden in the game's recent updates.
While Rockstar Games hasn't officially announced the mansions yet, the evidence is mounting that these high-end properties will be the centerpiece of the game's Winter 2025 update.
Once released, players will reportedly be able to host parties in their highly customizable mansions, turning their virtual homes into social hubs where friends can gather.
The mansions will reportedly be sold through a new in-game business called Prix Luxury Real Estate, whose logo has already been discovered in the game files.
But that's not all. Rockstar appears to be planning a construction event ahead of the update.
Previously, dataminers spotted construction props that will appear at two locations in Los Santos, giving players a preview of what's to come. This type of teaser event is classic Rockstar, similar to how they've handled major updates in the past.
The timing of this update couldn't be better. With Grand Theft Auto 6 still at least a year away from release, Rockstar is clearly committed to keeping GTA Online fresh and engaging for its massive player base.
Between the upcoming winter update and the Halloweed-themed content drop that will see zombies take over Cayo Perico, don't be surprised if Grand Theft Auto V breaks past the 225 million-mark in units sold before the year ends.
Of course, all of this information comes from leaks and datamining, which means details could change before the official release.
The Winter update typically launches in December, giving Rockstar several months to refine and adjust features based on internal testing and player feedback.
Until then, GTA Online players can keep themselves busy by enjoying the latest bonuses.
