Nearly Two Million Have Played New GTA Online Zombies Mode In Its First Week

Now heading into its second weekend with players threatening to slay a billion zombies before the next weekly update arrives, Tez2 dropped the latest figures.

According to the GTA insider, the zombie-themed GTA Online mode has drawn "almost at 1.7 million players and nearing 4 million total plays."

Previously he compared the success of the Ludendorff Cemetery Survival mode to past GTA Online updates, as the game achieved in mere days what took the said releases twice as long if not longer.

With the Halloween season in full swing, something tells us that GTA Online will continue to see more players over the next few weeks.

Aside from GTA Online's Halloween update, Rockstar appears to be sitting on two huge announcements: the PC port of Grand Theft Auto 5: Expanded and Enhanced and the second trailer of Grand Theft Auto 6. The former was "confirmed" two years ago when it was rated and Rockstar itself leaked its existence alongside the PC ports of GTA 6 and Red Dead Redemption, which will be available on October 28.

On the other hand, we might finally hear more about the latter right around the same time Take-Two Interactive holds its next earnings call in November.
