Rockstar is asking select GTA Online players for their opinions and rewarding them with $500,000 in-game cash.
Rockstar Games is once again rewarding loyal Grand Theft Auto Online players with another survey. It's been revealed that select players are being invited to participate in a comprehensive survey that will earn players $500,000 in in-game cash.
The survey begins by exploring players' gaming habits and preferences, including their platforms of choice and favored game modes. However, it quickly becomes more specific, with a focus on the recent Bottom Dollar Bounties content update.
One of the standout sections of the survey pertains to GTA+, Rockstar's subscription service. The company has posed several questions regarding GTA+, particularly focusing on why players have not subscribed, which makes sense since GTA+ is a huge revenue generator.
The multiple-choice answers include options such as platform limitations (only available on PS5/Xbox Series X/S), a general aversion to game subscriptions, the perception of GTA+ making the game more 'pay to win,' and the sentiment of having already paid enough for the game upfront.

Rockstar is also probing players' opinions on the monthly rewards offered through GTA+. Each month brings different perks, and the company is eager to understand which months provided the best value and why. The survey also explores hypothetical scenarios, such as the potential discontinuation of GTA+.
Clearly, Rockstar is interested in understanding players' reactions to this possibility and what features they would want immediate access to if GTA+ were no longer available.
GTA players are well aware that Rockstar is a big fan of player engagement and feedback. Just earlier this year, the publisher conducted phone surveys with a select group of players who were rewarded with GTA$2,000,000 upon completion.
Though this survey is geared towards GTA Online, it stands to reason that the feedback Rockstar will obtain from players will go a long way towards the development of GTA 6's online component. So far, there has been no word on what will happen to GTA Online once GTA 6 is released, but players can take comfort in the fact that GTA Online is still a very profitable venture for Rockstar.
