When you become as big and prestigious as Rockstar Games, you begin to work on your own timeline. Crafting the most influential games of entire decades is hard work, and takes precedence over fixing old bugs — so it's best to celebrate when they fix something, even if it takes them years. Case in point: the RC Bandito Glitch in GTA Online.

The infamous bug, which lets your character in Grand Theft Auto Online teleport to the location of your RC Bandito, has been in the game for years. Players have used this glitch to avoid getting jumped and ganged up on in the game and for trolling others by throwing Sticky Bombs while leaving others none the wiser, very much to the annoyance of those who don't like to use such exploits to get ahead in the game.

As per Tez2, Rockstar also fixed other glitches in GTA Online with the background update, including the "Cayo Perico Cooldown Skip" glitch and the various glitches that let you bypass cooldowns for Agent 14, Dax, Yohan, and Tony.

Many fans are still hoping that Rockstar Games will release at least one more expansion for GTA Online that's the size of the Cayo Perico Heist.

Rockstar has ramped up its updates in recent weeks. It even threw Red Dead Redemption fans a bone by leaking the highly anticipated PC port of last year's Red Dead Redemption remaster for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the Nintendo Switch alongside the PC ports of Grand Theft Auto: Expanded and Enhanced and GTA 6.
