You Won’t Believe The Latest GTA VI Rumor

For some inexplicable reason, the gaming community is absolutely fascinated with wild rumors and baseless speculation. Absolutely nothing – nothing – that can even vaguely resemble official, confirmed info regarding GTA 6 has been stated or released by Rockstar Games or Take Two. Certainly nothing that could be called “fact”. The only thing we know more or less for sure is that GTA VI is “a thing”.

Yeah, so basically we know nothing, and yet “GTA 6” is among the most used tags in gaming journalism. The mass of pure conjecture that is reported regarding the game is overwhelming. We have had “reports” that the game may feature an even larger open world map than ever before, encompassing the entire USA (at least, the GTA stand-in for the USA), or that it would update all the cities which appeared in previous GTA games (save for London), port them to the new engine and combine them into one massive map with connecting “countryside”. Speculation regarding the lead character has also been a hot topic in the gaming press recently. Some sources claim that there will be two playable characters, one of whom will be played by renowned actor Ryan Gosling, and the other will be female. Opposing sources claim that players will be able to customize their own character’s appearance in story mode, and that the game will move in a more RPG direction.

The other main topic of GTA 6 discussion is the setting, which has a new rumor to add to the list of possible settings: 1970s Mafia setting. This particular rumor comes courtesy of the Latino Post.

The reason we are skeptical of this newest rumor is that 2K Games’ Mafia series, which is getting a new installment soon, fills this very setting, and 2K is a Take Two property, just like Rockstar… and the Mafia and GTA series are similar enough as it is.

What do you guys think? Would you enjoy a retro ’70s mafia GTA game?

  1. Crazy would be the last time I spend my money on buying old shit, gta is a Morden game we appreciated the game cause it brings the art of new life we live on. Old games sucks same with mafia, we only play that cause we bored haven’t released something else yet, with internet update that was a well designed wise plan, I love the fact that the game can increase and grow tremendously with no doubt but continuous update that contribute towards the mega power the game give, I don’t have any problem with the internet and everything, I just want the game to stop being stingy but legalise real cars, we paying at the end of the day for each single copy they drop in our position, we need real cars in the open street of the game that would make it a real life born in the game, I hate to say most of their cars sucks we need real cars. Do them will still buy if it means fun we will

  2. I think they should make a gta5 where it’s in 4k and u can go anywhere anytime all of the globe and make it have like online stuff without having to be connected to Internet it would be pretty sweet to be able to buy airplane tickets to like London or England and be able to become president or be a cop or something like that somewhere gamers can be free to be able to have a job a house or be a drug dealer somewhere ppl can make there own life in the game and still have the story of the game with it like gta5 it would be nice to be able to sit down and play a game in 4k that could be my virtual life

  3. I want franklin to do a role similar to michaels in gta v. Like frankling being like 40 and teaching a kid the ways of being a criminal and mentioning things and people from gta V. Having some nostalgic moments like michael haves in gta v

        1. Actually if you look close at everything the only characters from previous games that we know died are the lost mc so niko and tony (from previous gta games) it does sometimes give hints that they may appear in the game I mean one time Lester says there are no old guys there was a Southern European in liberty city obviously NIKO and the term that Lester adds is that he went quiet obviously means he was either caught or retired from his life of crime like he tried to at the end of gta IV

          1. plus he has an active life invader page, along with roman, hinting that niko’s girlfriend died and that both roman and niko are able to maintain a page enough to chat with jimmy
