The lawsuit filed by Take-Two Interactive against a group of modders is finally settled.
Take-Two Interactive filed the court documents on April 4 to formally dismiss the lawsuit "with prejudice", which means it's done and over.
An April 5 filing officially closed the lawsuit while also adding all the remaining defendants aside from the four initially mentioned.
In the initial lawsuit, Take-Two claimed it was owed $300,000 in damages.
It isn't clear if Take-Two will be receiving proper compensation or if the parties agreed on a different solution.
Both the modding team as well as Take-Two will "bear its own costs, expenses and attorneys' fees."
Take-Two is expected to ramp up its protective efforts as we inch closer to the release of Grand Theft Auto 6.
