You might not want to play GTA Online right now if you game on a PC.
A still-ongoing loophole might cause anywhere from minor annoyances like losing in-game progress and currency to the corruption of accounts and, in some cases, degrading PC performance.
Not long after the exploit became public knowledge, Rockstar Games has issued a statement.
The GTA Online community is trying out workarounds for the players with corrupt accounts, but none have been proven to work 100% of the time.
As a result, it's recommended to avoid playing GTA Online until Rockstar patches things up.
The Guardian anti-cheat maker, Speyedr, even advised against playing GTA Online on the PC and has removed the Guardian tool from GitHub.
Fans are hoping Rockstar won't have to wait a long time for the exploit to be patched out GTA Online.
