Petition to Stop Rockstar Creating PC Version of GTA V

If you’re a PC gamer and also a fan of the Grand Theft Auto series (even GTA V in particular) then you’ll know that Rockstar currently has no plans to bring the game to the PC platform (or even next-generation ones).

This has of course annoyed lots of gamers who own a PC only, or want the extra performance/graphics/features/mods that a PC version might bring. There’s also the hugely popular petition to try and influence Rockstar into considering a release for PC – 342,493 signatures as of this moment and counting!

How about those of you who don’t want to see GTA 5 on PC though? The thing with the PC is that piracy is a pretty major problem. No matter how hard games manufacturers try and put in place copy protections, they are inevitably broken – at least for the single player portions of games.

Which brings me to the point of this post – a new petition on asking Rockstar not to release GTA V on the PC – ever. And the reason?

So PC Gamers learn their lesson and stop stealing games

Not releasing the game for PC based on that alone is probably a little extreme and absolutely guaranteed to NOT teach anyone a lesson. But do any console gamers feel the same way? The petition currently has 3,251 signatures so clearly some people agree (or are trolling).
