GTA Online Back To The Future Easter Egg Discovered In Cayo Perico

The Cayo Perico Heist DLC added a whole new landmass to Grand Theft Auto Online, bringing plenty of new ground to cover with hidden easter eggs for players to find. One such easter egg has already been well documented, but now an eagle-eyed fan has spotted another.

We've already covered the Loch Ness Monster easter egg found on Cayo Perico - as well as the convenient bug that made it easier to discover - however more cheeky references dot the island. As always, the devil is in the details, and these references may be hidden in the most innocuous of places.

It seems there are some Back To The Future fans at Rockstar - first the Deluxo vehicle referenced the iconic time-travelling car from the movies, and now another reference to the escapades of Doc Brown and Marty McFly have been spotted - if you're running the Cayo Perico Heist, make sure to keep an eye out for stickers on various power stations.

Fans of the movie will remember that Doc Brown had to generate an electrical surge of exactly 1.21 Gigawatts to send Marty back home to his own timeline. This little sticker on the power station reads "1.21 GW", a pretty blatant reference.

GTA Online is no stranger to pop culture references, with plenty of easter eggs hidden throughout the game for intrepid fans to discover. We've put together a guide that covers most of them, but with a game as big as GTA 5 chances are some remain hidden to this day - as the current example proves.

If you're in the mind for some easter egg hunting, check out how to freely explore the island of Cayo Perico using our guide, allowing you to dig around for clues peacefully. It definitely doesn't help detective work when you're on the clock, or have hordes of angry militia breathing down your neck!
