- Rockstar Games fans are anticipating news on the new Grand Theft Auto 6, building their expectations around the game developer's history of October announcements.
- Influential game insider LegacyKillaHD suggests this reveal might be accelerated by Take-Two Interactive's upcoming November investor call, which is likely to discuss a recent security breach that leaked GTA 6 development videos.
- Widespread speculation around the forthcoming title combines genuine leaks with conjecture, with most predicting a Vice City setting and at least one female protagonist.
October is a pretty special month for Grand Theft Auto. Rockstar Games announced Grand Theft Auto 5 on October 25, 2011. Meanwhile, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City will celebrate its 20th anniversary later this month. Based on these two facts alone, it's easy to guess why a lot of fans are speculating that Rockstar will drop more news about the next GTA game in a few weeks. However, one particular insider is basing his theory on facts - and not just pure opinion.
As @LegacyKillaHD points out, Take-Two Interactive has its next investor call scheduled for November 6. Because of this, they claim that a GTA 6 reveal will likely happen before then before asking fans to pay attention to "late October/early November". The same source also insists that Take-Two will have to discuss GTA 6 during the incoming investors' call, saying that the "investors may have some questions about the recent hack that Rockstar Games suffered."
Take Two Interactive, the parent company of @RockstarGames, has scheduled their next investor call for November 7th.
Based on history, if there is going to be a #GTA6 reveal in 2022 it'll come before this call. Keep your eyes out for late October/early November. 👀 pic.twitter.com/v7tFGGGwAp

The leaker is talking about the dozens of GTA 6 development videos that found their way online following a massive security breach over at Rockstar. The company later confirmed that the footage was legitimate. UK police have since captured the 17-year-old suspect, who has already pleaded "not guilty" to the charges.
It doesn't take an insider to know that Take-Two will need to field concerns from investors following the incident. Because this is public info, it's possible that Take-Two will try to ease their worries by revealing details about GTA 6. Since this might include information that they would've loved to keep private, Rockstar might as well reveal a teaser trailer for GTA 6 before the month ends. If nothing else, this would coincide with the recent leaks regarding the new UFO event in GTA Online.
It's been difficult trying to piece together what's real about GTA 6 and what's not. At this point, it's pretty much confirmed that GTA 6 will be set in Vice City following the events of GTA 5 with at least one female protagonist.
Fingers crossed, we'll finally get official GTA 6 info soon.
